This Privacy Policy explains how the organisers of Sipping collect, use, share and protect the personal information you provide through this website and through the event registration page.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide in two ways. Through the contact form on this website: your first and last name, company name and sector, country, telephone number, email address and any message you choose to send. Through the event registration page, hosted on the Luma platform (luma.com): your name, email address, company, job title, industry, mobile number and, if you choose to provide them, how you heard about Sipping and your LinkedIn profile. We do not collect personal information by any other means.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiries, to review and manage your request to attend Sipping 2026, including approval and check-in at the entrance, to invite you to future editions of Sipping and related activities, and to provide sponsors, co-organisers and suppliers with participation data used to assess the return on their involvement in the event.
Sharing your information
We may share your information with sponsors, co-organisers and suppliers of the event for the purposes described above. These parties may be located in countries whose data protection rules differ from those of the United Arab Emirates. Registration data is processed on our behalf by Luma, the platform we use to manage invitations and tickets, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Data security
We apply reasonable security measures to protect your information, including storage on systems protected by password and multi-factor authentication.
Data retention
We retain the information you provide until the end of the Sipping 2026 event, and may keep it until the following edition for invitation purposes.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time, by writing to info@sipping.ae.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies required for it to function and to produce aggregate, anonymous statistics about visitors. These cookies do not identify you personally.
